Founder and Managing Director
Karthik founded Tern Capital in 2011 and has over 15 years experience in transforming businesses and investing. Prior to this, Karthik spent over 10 years with Bain & Company and General Electric helping businesses grow and drive operational efficiencies.
Karthik actively leads all new investments at Tern Capital and currently sits on the board of Dragons of Walton Street, Telsis, Telency and MetaBroadcast.
Karthik holds a MBA from INSEAD and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong.
Teddy has over 6 years experience in business transformation, driving sales growth and operational improvements. Prior to Tern, Teddy worked at American Express, Value Retail and Credit Suisse in the UK, Italy, Spain and Hong Kong.
Pre-acquisition, Teddy leads deal sourcing, negotiation and execution including due diligence. Post-acquisition, Teddy has responsibility for value creation at the portfolio companies.
Teddy holds a MBA from London Business School and has an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
Bhavesh is responsible for building all aspects of Telsis’ presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has worked at a number of venture-backed start-ups, including Mobile Systems International (later acquired by Ericsson), Innowireless (Kosdaq) and Spire Technology Inc.
He has over 20 years experience in international business development and has worked across multiple geographies including the US, Japan, Korea and Africa. Over the last decade, he successfully started and established both Accuver’s wireless test and measurement business, where he was also a board member.
More recently, he was instrumental in building Spire’s international presence securing a string of operator customers, value added resellers and ecosystem partners.
